Hesed Christian Fellowship are grateful to everyone who manned or supported the charity shop in the St. Govan Centre, Pembroke Dock. In two weeks, the shop raised a total of £1,384.81.
Said the pastor, Rev. Peter Richmond: "It has been thrilling to see so many local churches get involved. The shop was manned by people from Bethel Baptist Church, Pembroke Dock; Deer Park, Tenby; Emmanuel, Manorbier; Hesed, Tenby; Mount Pleasant, Pembroke; The Apostolic Church, Pembroke; and Emmanuel Christian Centre, Haverfordwest."
The fund to provide a Release International partner and his team with a suitable vehicle has now reached the £5,000 milestone. This is all the result of small fund-raising efforts and represents a miraculous achievement.
Fund-raising is now halfway to the target of £10,000, which will mobilise a team who already do a world of good for prisoners and their families, including Christians who face the death sentence for alleged blasphemy.
