Among those participating in the Milford Haven 5K Run to raise funds for Ty Hafan Hospice was Helen Neilson, daughter of Richard and Christine Goodman, of Penally.

Those sponsoring Helen raised in excess of £1,300, a very much appreciated contribution to such a deserving cause.

The hospice gives assistance to families with very sick children by offering respite care for the whole family - a chance to get some sleep and recharge the batteries. Helen and her family have recently spent some time at the hospice preparing for, and convalescing from, Georgia's recent surgery.

Richard and Christine would like to express their gratitude to all those who sponsored their daughter, including friends, family and colleagues. Special thanks to those clubs and businesses who contributed so generously, including The Nomads, Lesley Fisher, of Tenby House Hotel, Dewhirst's staff at Fishguard, The Employment Service, Saundersfoot Bay Leisure Park and Calor Gas in Neath.

There are also others too numerous to mention, but thanks go to all who contributed on behalf of all the families who benefit from Ty Hafan.
