Stepping into the Kilgetty Co-op store on Friday, you may have been forgiven for believing you had arrived at a fancy dress party.
One soon realised, however, that it was one of the many charity events organised by the staff of the store.
All in pink, dresses, tops and capes, the workforce were promoting the Breast Cancer Campaign Week.
While the staff manned the tills, two members set off on horseback to trot the country roads of South Pembrokeshire collecting for breast cancer.
They were Sue Phillips and her 18-year-old daughter Emily, whose mounts were 'Ematar' and 'Bailey', respectively.
Joining them along the route were Sue's son Gavin as back-up driver, together with a number of walkers, including daughter Charlotte, Dana Rogers and her brother Ashley.
Leaving Kilgetty Farm at 8.30 am, the two riders reached the Co-op at 9 am, before setting off on their 12-mile trek some half-an-hour later.
Their route took them through Sardis, Wisemans Bridge, Summerhill, Amroth and up through Colby Woods to Ludchurch, before ending two-and-a-half hours later back at Kilgetty Farm. They were joined for part of it by two other riders, Teresa Griffiths and Cheryl Hughes.
Following the ride, Sue and Emily said they would like to thank Michelle, Basil, Gareth and Kathy, of Kilgetty Filling Station, for raising sponsorship of over £180, and the staff at the Co-op for dressing up and raising £183 throughout the day with a bucket collection etc.
Thanks also go to family and friends for their help and support, with over £700 having already been raised for the Breast Cancer Campaign and money still coming in.
Will they be doing it again? "Probably next year," said Sue.
