Sir,
Our annual charity night was held last Wednesday in memory of Griff - to raise funds for Ward 10, Withybush.
The weather was kind, and stayed dry and everyone was able to enjoy a brilliant evening in the courtyard, with great tunes from Steve Briers playing from the balcony.
The children were entertained with games and stalls, and face painting and all went home with prizes as usual.
The raffle and auction were again full of great prizes - many of which were kindly donated by local businesses, without whose support we would not be able to raise so much money.
It is always difficult to keep asking the same businesses to contribute, as I know they must be asked many times over to help when other events are taking place, but we really do appreciate the donations.
We had a hog roast this year, kindly provided by Matt from the Qube, with all our meat donated by our butchers, Andrew Rees and Son from Narberth, and everyone loved it.
A separate raffle was held to win an Apple ipad - this was well-supported, and the winning ticket was sold by Sion Brace in the fire station earlier in the day. The winner was Mrs. Galloway who was on holiday in Tenby with her family.
I know that Ward 10 always appreciates receiving any donations as they are used specifically for the benefit of those on the ward, and the patients families.
I would just like once again to say thank you to the community for your continued support - it means so much to us and to all those on Ward 10.
Lesley, Kelly and Martyn Fisher.
