An action packed day of golfing and gambling is underway for the busy girls of Tenby Ladies Circle. Following the huge success of their Charity Fashion Show in November, they are hoping that their next venture, taking place at Tenby Golf Club on Friday, March 23, will enable them to donate another bumper amount to their chosen charities.
For this event, the girls have nominated Wales Air Ambulance and The Children's Burns Unit at Morriston Hospital as their beneficiaries. Both charities undertake fantastic work and are in desperate need of funds.
The day will begin with teams of three teeing-off between 9.30 am and 11.30 am. A presentation dinner will follow with prizes for nearest the pin; longest drive and overall winning team being presented by representatives of both charities. The Casino will follow at 7.30 and Circlers hope that many of the golfers will stay to enjoy the evening. Those not partaking in the Golf Day are invited to come along solely for the Casino. Tickets for the Casino are available from Jazz Radio, Waterloo House and the Pro Shop at Tenby Golf Club at a cost of £5, to include a welcome drink and canapes.
