Two local businesses (Andrew Price and Jago) joined forces last weekend to stage a Ladies Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Held at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, the idea was to raise awareness of the disease, as well as funds for the charity in the lead-up to January 15, when two Anrdew Price stylists will be climbing Kilimanjaro in the memory of Dicky Parry, who lost his fight with the disease in 2016.

The event proved a great success, with £1,541 being raised from the raffles alone, with a client from Narberth, Wendy Lees, winning first prize of free haircare for a year, as well as a year’s supply of free hair products.

Absolutely all monies raised will be going directly to the charities, as Andrew Price is sponsoring the total cost of the trip and climb.

The total funds raised will be split between MNDA and the Intensive Care Unit at Withybush.
