The Tenby and District Darts League's annual charity darts tournament for the M. Feenan Memorial Shield turned into something of a family affair. Played at the Cross Inn, Penally, where two boards were in use, the board winners went on to contest the final. The early games were the best of three legs of 501, with the final being the best of five. A total of 28 players entered, including four ladies, with the darts being of a very high standard, with a number of quick games and high finishes. The final on board one was between mother and son, James Williams and Liz Williams, with James running out winner by two legs to one. On board two, Jim Williams beat Swanlake team- mate Ray Muskett 2-1 and went on to beat son James in a closely fought final by three legs to two. Jim Williams also produced the quickest game of the night, a 15-darter, while Dave Bushnell (Cross, Penally) chalked up the highest finish with 117. The competition was efficicently run by league secretary, Digger Brown, and vice-chairman, Derek Collier. A belated congratulations to Liz Williams, Swanlake, on her selection for the Pembrokeshire Ladies darts team. Well done Liz.
