The annual Rotary and Inner Wheel Charity Carol Service held recently in St. Mary's Church, Tenby, once again proved to be a resounding success, the highlight being the accomplished singing by the youth choir 'In Tune', under the direction of Andrew Cusworth.
The uplifting service was held with the very kind permission of the Rector, Rev. Andrew Davies, who conducted it, assisted by the reading of the nine lessons by the presidents of the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs of Narberth and Whitland, Pembroke, Saundersfoot, Tenby and the Rotary assistant governor of Zone One.
During the service, a collection was made for the Ty Hafan Children's Hospice and the clubs are delighted to report that the magnificent sum of £401 has been raised, with the promise of more to come from donations from those who were unable to attend.
The clubs would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to make the evening memorable, and to all who turned up, on a cold and wet evening to support a very worthy cause.
