We would like to congratulate the Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism for organising the recent St. Nicholas Christmas Market held in the village.

A lot of people worked very hard to stage this excellent event which brings so many people into the village at a very quiet time of the year. The whole village benefits from the weekend, shops, cafés, bars etc.

We happily provided music for the event - which is our way of helping the village that has provided us with a great deal of pleasure in the eight years we have lived here; but were quite saddened during the time we were at the market to hear a lot of negative comments about the fact that there was a £2 entry charge this year for the first time (free for children).

The £2 gave you entry for the three days of the market and helped to pay for the cost of staging the event, which provided much-needed trade for the village, and pleasure for a lot of people. So residents of Saundersfoot and district, applaud the Chamber for Tourism for staging this event.
