The chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Bill Roberts, of St. Ishmaels, held his civic service at the village church on Sunday. The service was conducted bv the chairman's chaplain, Rev. Sian Wight, Vicar of St. Ishmaels. Lessons were read by Clr. Roberts and the council's chief executive, Mr. Bryn Parry-Jones.
