Cub Scouts celebrate their 100th birthday this year, 2016.

The rapid growth of Scouting, which started in 1907, soon led the siblings of the Scouts to have a section of their own.

The Wolf Cubs were the answer to this problem and Baden Powell, with help from his friend Rudyard Kipling, who allowed the Jungle Book to become the theme for this new section of Scouting.

The 3rd Pembroke Sea Scout Group held a thank you event on Saturday, at the Youth Centre, Pembroke Dock, to recognise the support of volunteers, parents and the community, and to demonstrate that Cub Scouting is still there in the heart of the community today.
