Staff at Celtic Haven were delighted to take part in Macmillan’s Word’s Biggest Coffee Morning, welcoming old friends and new to their fundraising event in Waves cliff-top restaurant.

Celtic Haven were thrilled with the turnout and a fantastic morning was had by all, with a hug array of homemade cakes for sale (mostly baked by the talented Celtic Haven team!) along with tea, coffee and a charity raffle.

Betty from Celtic Haven said. “After such a brilliant morning, discovering how much we had raised for Macmillan really was the ‘icing on the cake’! On the day, we raised £712, but this has since risen to £780 thanks for further donations over the weekend. We’re so pleased with the outcome and can’t wait to do it all over again next year.
