Proper nutrition fuels both peak performance and rapid recovery. The US Olympic committee uses the four Rs for proper nutritional recovery: Replenish the body with carbs. Repair muscles with protein. Reinforce the immune system with fruits and vegetables. Rehydrate with fluids and electrolytes.
Addressing these nutritional needs will increase performance.
