A celebration has been held at Foundry House to thank volunteers who are vital to every activity provided by Pembroke 21C Community Association.

Very light-hearted quizzes were combined with good food for a sociable evening and good humour. Some current volunteers and staff were identified by their baby photos. Staff also provided their various signature dishes. Thankfully, volunteers were too kind to subject these to any gruelling Masterchef assessments.

When not defeating their parents at quizzes, volunteers' children were entertained with Jenga and charades.

The volunteer chair of 21C, Gareth Jones, spoke of his appreciation for all that people do.

Improving the environment for local wildlife, exploring Pembroke history, delivering a Newsletter to every home in Pembroke, helping others to access computers and managing the Foundry House community venue are just some of the activities provided.
