Celebrate everything that’s great about libraries at a week of special events and activities this October.

The first ever Libraries Week, October 9-14, is a chance to discover the range of things on offer at your local library.

Did you know that libraries across the county are free to join, offer free access to PCs, free Wi-Fi and free events?

Throughout Libraries Week, a number of regular events will be taking place including the popular Baby Rhyme Time sessions and weekly Gadget Drop Ins, offering support with anything from iPads to smartphones.

Several libraries in Pembrokeshire will also be hosting a range of special Libraries Week events, including a book launch, a literary walk, ‘Yap and Yarn’ ... and much, much more!

As part of the Libraries Week celebrations, customers can get a massive 50 per cent off the normal price of reservations and DVD loans at their local library.

The ‘50% off’ offer runs from Monday, October 9, to Saturday, December 2, and is available at all 12 local libraries and the Mobile Library.
