Pembrokeshire County Council have announced a temporary road closure for Tenby next month, to allow for the Carten Cardiff to Tenby charity cycle ride participants to enter the town centre.

High Street and Tudor Square will be closed from 1 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, April 27, so that the finish of the Carten100 cycle sportif can take place in a traffic free environment.

The alternative route for traffic will be via Crackwell Street which will be made two way under temporary traffic light control.

The one way order for both Bridge Street and Crackwell Street will be suspended for the duration of the closure to enable motorists to travel towards the harbour area and also to allow limited vehicular access to property with off road parking provision.

Access for vehicles will be under the direction of an event marshal or police officer.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
