On Sunday evening, December 22, after evensong, church members joined with people from the local community for a very happy sing-along of Christmas Carols, held in the Jeffreyston Church Hall.
There was an abundance of mince pies that has been cooked by the ladies of the church and delicious mulled wine, non-alcoholic wine was provided for car drivers. The singing was accompanied on the piano by the church organist, Eileen Thomas.
We heartily sang most of the carols on the Bethlehem carol sheet, provided by Biblelands, during which we were richly entertained by three excellent individual lady soloists.
The Rector, Father Paul, thanked all who helped to provide a very enjoyable evening.
