Barnardo's Cymru will be getting into the Christmas spirit when they host a torchlight carol service at Picton Castle on Saturday, December 1. This is the first year the children's charity have hosted the event at the castle, and organisers hope to attract hundreds of families to join them on the night. The evening festivities at the castle start at 6.30 pm. Shirley Williams and The Little Landskers and Seimon Morris and the Choir of St. Mary's Church, Wiston, will be leading the carols. Barnardo's Cymru corporate fundraiser Allyson Byrne said: "We are delighted to have this fabulous Christmas celebration at the castle, and a great new event to help raise money for disadvantaged children in Wales. We believe in the potential of every child and by attending the concert you help us to continue our work supporting local children and young people, and help them to achieve this potential."
