Through the columns of your 'paper, I would like, on behalf of Narberth Winter Carnival, to thank everyone who helped make Saturday's event such a success.
Special thanks go to parade marshals Edward Lewis and Josh Meredith-Owen; the Mayor and Mayoress of Narberth, Clr. Eric and Doris Feetham; Mr. and Mrs. Wyn Calvin; Claire Morgan, our Snow Queen; our town crier, Beverley Harries; Mason Brothers for supplying the Velfrey Queen; Landsker Credit Union for controlling our finances for the day; Narberth Round Table; Charles Rodeo for undertaking his normal role; The Dingle for all their assistance; and Chris Allen and his team for the firework display.
Also, thanks are extended to our president, Tom Thomas, and all the representatives of the benefiting charities, Hafal, Templeton YFC, Martin Roberts Children's Fund and the Scouts and Guides who worked hard all day collecting around the town.
In addition, the support of the St. John Ambulance, Dyfed Powys Police and the Fire Brigade was much appreciated.
The presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries will take place on December 17 at the Queen's Hall.
