Pictured holding a cheque for £200 for a Blue Peter appeal are Year 5 pupils at Tenby Junior School, Nathan Rees, Dan Murray and Tomas Cox. They are seen with Year 5 teacher, Mr. Mike Scale and Mrs. Jan Llewellyn, headteacher.

The money was raised after Tomas decided to get involved in Blue Peter's special Mission Nutrition campaign to help children around the world eat better and grow their own food.

He organised a stall at the school and together with help from his classmates sold numerous items which had been donated by generous local businesses and friends.

Aim of the appeal is to get two-million meals to hungry children, and help them to grow healthy food for themselves.

The participating charities for the campaign are Save the Children, continyou, Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens.

Thanks go to: Londis Stores, Clarice Toys, Lloyds Bank, Five Arches Gifts, NE Thing, the staff of Stewart Richleys, Famous £1 Shop, Tenby Red Cross, Woolworths, Tenby Newsagents, Somerfield Team and Blooming Marvellous for all the goods and support they gave Tomas in his effort to raise money for the appeal.

Missing from the picture is Robert McKinley, who also helped with the stall.
