The annual trip for the Saundersfoot Caring Association this year was to the Wetlands in Llanelli, a venue new to many members.
In perfect weather, the group was taken on a guided walk around the lakes and were able to view at close hand the many different breeds of water birds. A large flock of flamingos with their young was quite a spectacle.
Following the walk, a delicious cream tea was served, and there was time for a browse in the attractive gift shop.
Chairman Mrs. Rosemary Hayes MBE thanked the coach driver, Aiden, for his care and help. She also expressed the thanks of all the members to the Saundersfoot Rotarians for their continued sponsorship of the coach.
