Tonight (Friday), the Youth Club will be having a Christmas party, starting at 7 pm in the Youth Centre.

Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am - nativity play final rehearsals. There will be no afternoon service, but there will be rehearsals for the nativity. Evening service: The Sunday School will perform their nativity at 6 pm.

The Rev. Alan Jenkins will take the Christmas Eve service, which will commence at 11 pm, when the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will also be administered. All are welcome.

We think of those in our community who are unwell or lonely over the Christmas period. We think of our loyal chapel members who are not well at this time - Mrs. Denny Clarke and Mr. Glyn Evans, it was lovely to see them both in chapel last week sharing in worship; we continue to hold them in our thoughts and prayers. We also think of Daisy Bottomley who is unwell at the moment.

The chapel is open for prayer and meditation each day, 10 am to 4 pm, as we surround all those in our parish who are ill or lonely with our love and prayers.

The Youth Club braved the elements last Friday and went carol singing around the village. They raised £120 which will be sent to the charity Action for Children. Thanks to those club members who turned out to help raise money for this worthy cause.
