Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members and leaders are asked to meet in the Youth Centre at 6.30 pm, in preparation for a night of crabbing at the Mill Pond. On return to the Youth Centre at 8.30 pm, there will be a presentation of a cheque to Kidney Research in memory of the late Mrs. Jane Arnold. All are welcome to this presentation.
Sunday services: There will be a Family Service at 11 am conducted by Sharon, Graham and members of the Sunday School.
Because of the morning service, there will be no afternoon service. Worship at 6 pm will be conducted by deacon Janet Jenkins.
Choir practice in preparation for the Sunday School Anniversary on Sunday, June 21, will be held on Thursday - children at 6.30 pm and adults at 7.30 pm.
We are pleased to report that the chapel anniversary supper raised £350 towards the completion of work on the chapel extension, and the coffee afternoon for Kidney Research raised £875. We thank all who worked so hard to make both events such a success, and all the wonderful people who supported the events.
The chapel is open for prayer and meditation each day, 10 am to 6 pm, and a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support.
A warm Christian invitation is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
