Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members and leaders are asked to meet in the Youth Centre at 7 pm for the much looked forward to annual event. During the evening there will be a visit from a member of the Princes Trust, and weather permitting outside activities. Last Saturday morning, 20 young members of the Youth Club spent a most enjoyable morning canoe training on the Carew Mill Pond. Two more training sessions are planned, so that the club members can obtain their certificates for safety in using canoes. Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am. Mr. John Davies will conduct the afternoon service at 2.30 pm and Rev. Anthony Gregory will conduct the evening service at 6 pm. During this service, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered and a retiring love offering taken. The chapel members send their love and best wishes to two much-loved and respected people of the parish of Carew, Mr. and Mrs. David Hughes, of Kesteven Court. David and Doreen have just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, and we send to them every blessing for the future. Although considerable building work is being done at the chapel and Sunday School, the chapel will remain open each day for prayer and meditation, 10 am to 6 pm. A prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian welcome is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
