The Youth Club will re-open tonight (Friday) at 7 pm after the summer break. After registration, club members will enjoy a disco by Russell and refreshments served by club leaders. A good varied events programme has been prepared up until the Christmas break, with some supported by the Welsh Waterways Trust. Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am. The Harvest Festival services will be held at 2.30 pm and 6 pm, when the preacher will be Rev. Norman Gilbert, of Cosheston. The Harvest services will continue on Monday evening at 7 pm, when the preacher will be Mr. Graham Hobbs. Members and friends of the chapel are asked to meet tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 pm to prepare the chapel for Harvest. John will enjoy an 80th birthday party on Saturday in the Youth Centre, from 4 to 6 pm, given by his many young friends from the Sunday School and Youth Club. The chapel is open daily, 10 am to 6 pm, for prayer and meditation, and a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian invitation is given to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
