Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members and Sunday School members will join together for a Christmas sale of work evening, and entertainment, so mums and dads and all the family, you are welcome to the Youth Centre at 7 pm - all proceeds will be for the work in the Sunday School. On Remembrance Sunday there will be a young people's service at the Carew Memorial at 11 am (all meet at 10.45 am). Wreaths will be laid by members of the Carew Community Council and Sports Club. After this service, the Sunday School will meet as usual. There will be a Parish Remembrance Service in St. Mary's Church at 3 pm. Legion members and friends will meet at the Carew Memorial at 2.30 pm, prior to the parade to St. Mary's. At the close of the church service, the parade will move to the war graves at Carew Cheriton for the laying of the British Legion wreath. The evening service will be held in the chapel at 6 pm, and will be conducted by Rev. Anthony Gregory. During this service, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered and a retiring love offering taken. Tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 am, Legion members and friends will meet at the Carew War Memorial for the reading of the Rolls of Honour and the laying of the Control Tower Group's wreath. On Tuesday, a joint Fellowship meeting will be held in the Youth Centre at 7 pm, conducted by Rev. Anthony Gregory. The chapel is open daily, 10 am to 4 pm, for prayer and meditation; a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian welcome is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
