Tonight (Friday), Youth Club members and leaders are asked to meet in the Youth Centre at 6.45 pm, to prepare for the Parish Torchlight Walk. The walk has been planned by Janet and Tracy, and will include crossing over some muddy fields, so members are advised to be fully prepared with wellingtons and warm clothing. Hot refreshments prepared by Helen and Vanessa will await all on their return to the Youth Centre. Last Friday's sausage and mash evening will be long remembered by the 120 who attended. The Youth Club leaders, ably led by Sue, served a superb meal, greatly enjoyed by everyone present. Deric brought this good evening to a close with a presentation of slides, spanning some 50 years. The club members express sincere thanks to all who provided excellent sweets for the supper, but a huge thanks must go to Mandy at Carew Inn, for her tremendous support. Sunday services: There will be a family service at 11 am led by the teachers and members of the Sunday School. Because of this, there will be no afternoon worship at 2 pm. The evening worship at 6 pm will be conducted by Rev. Hywel Brown. The Ladies Fellowship will be on Tuesday at 7 pm. The chapel is open daily for prayer and meditation, and a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian welcome is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
