Youth Club members and leaders are asked to meet in the Youth Centre at 6.45 pm for onward transportation to the Martello Tower, Pembroke Dock. Parents please note transport is required. After the visit, the usual call will be made at McDonalds. Sunday will be a very special day in the parish of Carew as we commemorate the 60th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. There will be a short service at the Carew War Memorial at 11 am for the laying of the British Legion wreath, all are welcome to join. Sunday School will follow this service. The Parish Ecumenical Services will commence at 2.30 pm at the Carew Cheriton War Graves. The Pembroke Borough Silver Band will then lead the parade to the Carew Cheriton Control Tower, where a service of peace and thanksgiving will be led by ministers of the parish, while taking part will be members young and old of the churches, chapels and the school in the parish of Carew. The evening service at Wesley, at 6 pm, will be conducted by Rev. Anthony Gregory. Choir members will meet on Wednesday, with the children meeting at 6.30 pm and the adults at 7.30 pm. The chapel is open each day for prayers and meditation, and a prayer sheet is open in the porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A warm Christian invitation is given to all, to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
