Youth Club members are busy receiving the new chairs and tables that have been delivered to the centre over the past week and will be in place ready for the opening of the club early in September after the summer break. The money for the chairs and tables was raised by the club members, through sponsored walks and the Boxing Day swim. Sunday services: Sunday School 11 am; Rev. Anthony Gregory will lead worship at 2.30 pm and 6 pm - during the evening service, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be administered, and a retiring love offering taken. The fellowship, craft exhibition and refreshment days will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10.30 am to 4 pm. Many hundreds of people are visiting the centre, giving great satisfaction to the loyal band of lady members, as they provide the visitors with very tasty refreshments. A special day of prayer is being arranged for Wednesday, September 1, when all the United Reformed and Methodist chapels in Pembrokeshire will be open, as we seek God's guidance in the sharing of worship. The chapel will be open daily for prayer and meditation, 10 am to 6 pm. And a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support. A Christian welcome is extended to all to share in church and chapel services held in the parish of Carew.
