CAREW U11s 1 SWANSEA CITY XI 3
Carew Under 11s recently played host to a Swansea City XI. Both teams are pictured above holding their commerative trophies. In an end to end game, Carew gave an excellent display and were in no way overawed by their illustrious visitors. On their very first experience of playing on a full- size pitch against a well-disciplined Swansea side, Carew found themselves 3-1 down at the final whistle, but this score didn't reflect how close a game they gave Swansea. Both teams had a great day out and the game was truly played in the spirit of sportsmanship. Carew are looking to strengthen their squad by four to five players for next season.
