Local county councillor David Neale has arranged a fire safety event and the testing of electric blankets at the Memorial Hall, Carew, this coming Thursday, January 8, from 10.30 am - 3.30 pm.

Officers from Mid and West Wales Fire Service will be in attendance. Any electric blanket that is more than two-years-old, needs to be tested. Anyone who has a blanket that does not pass the test, will be given a brand new replacement blanket free of charge.
