Carew village got their own Diamond Jubilee Royal Family last month!

Children from both inside and outside the community gathered at Carew Sports Club on Saturday, April 28, and had their names put into a hat. The draw was made as families watched with anticipation.

The King for the Carew Diamond Jubilee celebrations will be Ethan Hall and the Queen will be Charlie Oakley.

And it didn't stop there, as both a Prince and Princess were still needed. It was drawn that the Prince will be Joe Bullock and the Princess , Millie Griffiths. Well done and thanks go to all who attended!

This 'Royal Family' will be one of the main focuses of the Carew Diamond Jubilee celebrations to be held on June 5. The celebrations will begin at 1 pm at Sageston CP School, where people are encouraged to wear fancy dress for a Jubilee Parade to the Carew Sports Field. Here there will be fancy dress judging (by some Radio Pembrokeshire stars!) and also fun sports, afternoon tea, BBQ and disco!

Anyone young or old, from inside or outside of Carew, is invited with open arms to a day that will be full of community spirit!
