Damage was caused to a vehicle parked in the car park of Londis, New Hedges, at approximately 5.10 pm on Monday.

The owner had parked her dark grey VW Polo outside while she went into the shop for approximately three minutes.

On her return, she noticed damage to the driver's side rear door consisting of scratches and a large dent.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the car park at the time or witnessed another vehicle colliding with the damaged vehicle.
