Friends of St. Oswalds School, Jeffreyston, recently held a 'Dog Race' at Trevayne Farm, New Hedges. The evening was a great success, with a wide variety of dogs... and owners.

The races included terriers, lurchers and novelty, but the most outstanding sight had to be the Alaskan Malamute racing against a Yorkshire terrier! A fun evening enjoyed by all.

A grand sum of £220 was raised. A big thank you to Dennis, Richard and gang at Trevayne, Spud, Joey, Phil and boys for the races, Dawn for your hard work, Debbie and Andy, of Yerbeston Farm Shop, for their delicious burgers and a very special thank you to David Bolton for the amazing photographs.
