I am writing to let your readers know about a special memorial taking place in Pembrokeshire.

We are pleased to announce that St. David's Cathedral has teamed up with us at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) to hold a special Christmas Eve memorial, where a special candle will be lit in memory of those lost to cancer.

The Candle of Hope appeal will start on December 24, with the memorial candle burning from Christmas Eve through to Twelfth Night. As part of this special appeal, the names of loved ones can also be entered into our Book of Remembrance, which is held at our London office.

As well as giving people in St. David's the opportunity to remember those who have been lost to cancer, it is also a chance to raise funds towards WCRF's cancer prevention work.
