A successful big breakfast organised by the Saundersfoot Committee of Cancer Research UK was held last Tuesday at the Wesley Chapel, Saundersfoot, by kind permission of stewards and members of the chapel. Cook for the day was Gwyneth Jenkins, helped by Gladys Cleevely and Mary Howells; also committee members, who served and did the washing-up. A special thank you to the following who donated goods: Somerfield Stores, Tenby; John Rowe, Tenby; Heywood's Saundersfoot; Dai the Butcher, Kilgetty; James Giles; Four Seasons, Tenby; Co-op Stores, Kilgetty; and to everyone who gave raffle prizes. The sum of £410.20 was raised. Raffle winners were Madge Wills, Lilian Shuck, Joy Nixon, Mary Howells and Mary Cavell.
