Can you help identify all the flush kerbs in your town or village?
If so, Narberth town councillor, Henry Langen, would like to hear from you.
Clr. Langen, who is a member of the Pembrokeshire Access Group, is busy compiling maps online showing all the flush kerbs in all the towns and villages in Pembrokeshire.
But he needs help in doing so.
"I have started with Narberth and have identified all the town's 94 kerbs on a map of the town which can be found by logging onto the Pembrokeshire Access Group website at http://www.pembrokeshire-access.org.uk,"">www.pembrokeshire-access.org.uk," he told the Observer.
"We only used to have around 20 flush kerbs in Narberth, but in the last four years, Alan Hunt, Pembrokeshire County Council's access officer, and I have instigated the rest and made the town a lot more accessible," he continued.
"I hope that by identifying all the flush kerbs in the different towns and villages around the county, people will be able to go online and see exactly how accessible that place is and see the exact route they need to take."
If you can help Clr. Langen in locating flush kerbs, you can telephone him on 861202, email him at [email protected]">[email protected] or write to him at 5 Church Street, Narberth, SA67 7BH.
Clr. Langen, who is also vice-chairman of Disability Wales, is also hoping the scheme will be taken on by all access groups around the country.
