HAVE you ever had the desire to make a positive contribution to your local community?

It is said that charity begins at home, and here is a chance for you to spread goodwill throughout your neighbourhood. The WRVS needs your help to ensure that a vital service can continue to run smoothly in the Saundersfoot area.

If you have your own transport and a clean driving licence, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to help. The WRVS is urgently looking for drivers to assist in the delivery of meals-on-wheels.

Meals are collected from Stepaside School and are delivered to your elderly and housebound friends and neighbours. Delivery takes about one-and-a-half hours and you can commit yourself to either Tuesdays or Thursdays on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly basis. The amount of time you offer is entirely up to you.

It is as easy as that; the WRVS even cover the mileage cost at 35p per mile.
