Sir,
As you can see from the picture, it is a bizarrely similar building at the front, painted white with black window frames. But it is the name that puzzled me as it's so rare.
My granny, the late Doris English, of Tenby, often told me of the time the Ilfracombe paddle steamer 'The Waverley' came to Tenby in days gone by... and, therefore, I wondered whether there was a link.; whether someone in Ilfracombe decided to build a similar Laston House in the town because they loved ours so much?
Is there anyone out there who can shed any light on it?
