Sir, I wonder if any of your readers remember someone by the name of William Pero, who I believe lived in Jones Terrace from about 1918? Perhaps someone remembers going to school with him? His parents may have moved to South Africa and he remained in Tenby to be raised by members of the Merrony family to whom he was related. I am searching on behalf of a friend who currently lives in Australia, but lived for many years in South Africa. His quest for information about his ancestry has led him to Tenby, but he appears to have hit a brick wall, so I hope someone can fill in the missing parts of the puzzle.
