Sir,

My great-great-uncle, William Morgan, was born in 1858 at Cilrhiw (says Dyffryn on his brother's birth certificate), Lampeter Velfrey.

According to his obituary in the Narberth, Whitland and Clynderwen Weekly Times, he was a pharmacist and opened his chemist's shop in the Market Square in Narberth in 1874. It was still open in 1938, maybe run by his son Cadwallader.

He had three sons and five daughters. His son Ivor was at the farm Cilrhiw in 1938, married and three daughters or nieces were at the funeral Evelyn Morfydd and Lan Mill.

Cadwallader was born in 1898 and Ivor in the early 1900s. His sister Catherine was born in 1891.

He died on October 30, 1938. His obituary covered most of the front page, so he was very important locally.

What I really want to know is if any relations still live near Narberth?

Thank you in advance.

Brian Wood,
