Locals and visitors alike were treated to a feast of music on Easter Saturday morning when a string group from Greenhill School Orchestra met in the church grounds to draw awareness to their campaign to save the music in their school.
These young people showed how passionately they feel for their orchestra in their delightful playing and soon attracted a large and appreciative audience. The support they received and the number of people who commented on the quality of their music gave them great encouragement.
Many other members of the orchestra also gathered there to support their friends and to speak to those listening who could not believe that music of this standard is at threat.
These talented and dedicated youngsters are still hoping that a solution to the problem can be found.
