Do you live in Saundersfoot?

Are you tired of seeing irresponsible dog owners leaving their dog mess in public places?

If so, there may be something you can do about it.

Saundersfoot Neighbourhood Policing Team are working with Pembrokeshire County Council to establish a volunteer scheme dedicated to tackling the longstanding issue of dog fouling around the Saundersfoot area, particularly on the coastal path and beaches.

If seen failing to remove your dog’s faeces, both local police community support officers (PCSOs) and Pembrokeshire County Council staff can issue fixed penalty tickets for £75.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or wish to find out more, please contact PCSO 8187 Rachel Adams using Dyfed-Powys Police’s non-emergency 101 telephone number.

If you would be interested in setting up a similar initiative in your area, please contact Steve Morbey on 01437 764551 or email [email protected]
