Nick Bourne, Welsh Conservative Leader in the National Assembly and Assembly Member for Mid & West Wales, has written to Pembrokeshire County Council to request that traffic calming measures be introduced in Redberth.

In his letter, Nick Bourne expressed his concerns about traffic speeding through the village and the lack of road signs and footpaths.

In their reply, Pembrokeshire County Council agreed to ask the community council to identify more accurately the areas of particular concern so that they could arrange for warning signs to be erected.

They also agreed to review traffic speed date in the village to study possible options for speed enforcement measures.

Nick Bourne said: "I am grateful to Pembrokeshire County Council for agreeing to study the need for traffic calming measures in Redberth and hope that joint action between them and the community council will result in appropriate action being taken to improve the situation."
