A Tenby business has been welcomed on board as a main sponsor of this summer’s Caldey Swim.
Harbour Wealth has a particular interest in the event as company director Chris Brace will be amongst those taking making the 2.5 mile crossing from the island to the mainland.
Chris will be conquering his fear of jellyfish by taking the plunge as part of a series of endurance challenges this year to raise £2,000 for the Withybush Hospital Chemotherapy Day Unit.
Along with the Caldey Swim on August 12, he will also be tackling the TenFoot Swim between Tenby and Saundersfoot in July, as well as Ironman Wales in September.
People can find out more about Chris’s challenges and donate to his cause via his JustGiving page chris-brace
Said Chris: "The Harbour Wealth team are proud to be a main sponsor of the iconic Caldey to Tenby swim."
The swim is organised by Tenby Sea Swimming Association (TSSA) and is in aid of the RNLI and Tenby Surflink.
Said TSSA chairman Chris Osborne: "Harbour Wealth is already a supporter of our legendary Tenby Boxing Day Swim, and we’re delighted to welcome them on board to back the Caldey Swim, particularly with Chris Brace’s commitment to taking part."
To register for the swim, go to the Tenby Caldey Swim website.
