Tenby Surgery and the town's RNLI branch received a boost this week thanks to the residents of Caldey Island. A summer fete on the monastic isle, which was also enjoyed by a large number of holidaymakers, raised the magnificent sum of £1,828.94. At a presentation on Friday, Caldey's Father Senan paid a special visit to Tenby and presented a cheque for £1,000 to senior partner at Tenby Surgery, Dr. John Bowen. He also handed over a cheque for £828.94 to Fred Broomhead, lifeboat operations manager. Seen with them are Dr. Damian Kelly and Judith Roblin, practice nurse.
