At the recent West Wales Sea Cadets canoeing regatta, Tenby Sea Cadets small team of four cadets, competing against other units from West Wales, took third place overall.
The team consisting of Gareth and Ross Davies, Cassie Allen and Gemma Thomas were in the first three place in every race they entered.
Three of them now will represent West Wales District at the South West Area regatta at the end of July, this will take place in Bristol.
The unit is now well into the summer programme of boatwork and outdoor activities. The cadets meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and any young person between the ages of 12 and 18 would be welcome to join them.
