Well-known former Tenbyite Heidi Langford has just returned from the South Korean capital, Seoul, where she has been helping to launch well-known clothing range George.

Heidi, the daughter of retired Tenby businessman Tommy Nail, of Culver Park, was educated at Tenby's Convent School and Netherwood School in Saundersfoot before gaining a scholarship, aged 11, to Christ's Hospital public school.

From there she went to London University where she gained a degree in French and Maths.

Heidi became a buyer for George at Asda seven years ago.

When the UK supermarket chain was taken over by American firm Wal-Mart in 1999 she remained with the firm and, in her role as International Merchandising manager, helped launch the George range in the United States and Canada.

Following the success of this launch, the decision was taken to launch the clothing range worldwide with Heidi and Wal-Mart colleague Gary Kershaw recently spending nine days in Seoul to launch George there.

Heidi is now preparing to launch the clothing range in Mexico.

She lives in Leicestershire with her husband Jonathan and daughters Scarlett and Imogen.
