The ever busy Pembrokeshire branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust is now organising fund-raising events for Cystic Fibrosis Week, which runs from April 16 - 24. Members will begin the week by joining the congregation of Tabernacle Church in Haverfordwest at their 11 am service on Sunday, when prayers will be said for the patients and their families and all those who work on their behalf. Everyone is, of course, welcome to attend this service, after which branch members will have lunch at the Fishguard Arms. At the invitation of Mr. Trevor Rands, a fund-raising Fish and Chip Supper takes place at 8 pm on Tuesday at the award-winning Something's Cooking in Letterston. During the week, collections will take place in Fishguard (Kwik Save) and in Fishguard Market, in Morrisons and Castle Square, Haverfordwest, as well as in Milford Haven and Narberth. Anyone wishing to attend the Fish and Chip Supper or offer help during the week should contact branch secretary, Barbara Piper, on 01437 781472, or chairman, Sybil Edwards, on 01348 837147.
