TROTS runners have been busy running all types of races.
Ann Rowell and Rosie Swale-Pope successfully completed the Cardiff half-marathon.
Six Trots ran the Cardiff 10K road race. They were Ian and Brian Williams, Cyril Walters, Ron Morgan, Pauline Thomas and Lon Morgan. They all ran well, especially Ian who ran under 35 minutes and Cyril running just over 40 minutes. Ian went on to run a Fell Race in Alaska representing Wales.
Mike Hodges successfully completed his fourth marathon this year, run last week the New Forest Marathon.
Thirteen TROTS ran the Swansea 10K road race joining over 2,000 runners. Mike Evans was 29th. Other TROTS who ran were Evan Williams, Ann Thomas, Cyril Walters, Ron Anthony, Mary Bowen Rees, Ron Morgan, Pauline Thomas, Tom Furness, Lon Morgan, Brian Williams, Helen Roberts and Jeanette Holliday.
Rosie Swale-Pope, a TROT runner, sets off this week to run round the world. We all wish her well.
